The Smiths gathered in DFW for a Smith Family Staycation. We had lots of fun enjoying each other's company. Neeny had planned fun activities for the weekend, and we all had a great time.
We went to a Ranger's game. Neeny made sure to get us tickets in the shade, which was a must, since it was about a hundred degrees outside that day. Makenna witnessed "the wave" for the first time. We had Lemon Ice and cotton candy, and David got a gigantic thing of nachos. I know that the Rangers were playing the Dodgers and that there were a couple of home runs....one of which was hit by a Dodger, but I still clapped (unknowing at the time that it was not a Ranger that hit it). Other than that, I am not sure much about the game, but we had lots of fun.
Makenna is always excited for her "Neeny time."
I fall more in love with these two guys by the second!
Here we are headed out to the car. Mark was totally Super Dad. It was so crazy hot outside. He took both kiddos with a smile on his face. I think he really is Mr. Incredible. I think I'll keep him.
Here is my cutie Hayden. I love these pictures of this little guy.
Hayden's favorite word is "bow," as in "bowl." He says this word to mean "bowl," as in the dog's bowl...one of his favorite splashing spots; or he also says it to mean "ball," of course, every little boy's favorite toy. The way he says it is so cute that I get tickled when I think about it. I was so excited to get the below pic of the "bow" face.
Tom had some sentimental items....tools and things from his father and grandfathers that he wanted to give to the boys.
One night we went to Joe T. Garcia's and had some good tex mex food.
We spent one morning at the Fort Worth Zoo.
Even though this pic is a bit blurry, I couldn't resist....cutie cousins!
Makenna kept seeing people wearing UT gear. Every time she did, she would get so upset. It happened so often that she stopped pointing it out and would just give her "horns down" when she saw it. I caught her in this one... She cracks me up!
