The Venables are out of town on vacation and said that we can enjoy their pool while they are away. I am so happy to get to swim with the pregnant body with no one watching.
The most exciting news of the week is that Makenna learned to swim at Jake's house the other day. Jake and Bella have started swimming after some private lessons while we were in Texas. Makenna watched them for about twenty minutes, asked to have her floaties removed, and proceeded to swim. I knew that she was really close to swimming on her own, but wow! Bella's mom was in the pool and gave her a few pointers from what the swimming instructor had told Bella. Makenna is swimming like a champ now!
Makenna gets a "turtle ride" from Daddy.... like on Nemo. Every time she gets a turtle ride, she talks like the turtles in the movie and says, "Later, Dude!"
