I have not had time to update the blog (which I will hopefully do by the end of the week), but I could not allow myself to not post what I felt like God was saying to me this morning in my quiet time.
This is what I felt that I heard Him say:
Make yourself ready for The Kingdom. Put on the armor of God, and make yourself ready for The Kingdom. Finish the race. Put on the armor to fight the battle and finish the race. Prepare yourself for The Kingdom by finishing the race I have set out for you.
“And He walks with me, and He talks with me. And He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.”
Walk with Me. Talk with Me. I want to be with you. I want to walk with you. I want to run the race with you. I want to finish the race with you. I am with you always.
The point is not just to put on the armor, or to go into battle, or to finish the race. The point is to let Me run the race with you….to walk with you through the highs and the lows. Then, through all those experiences together, we will have forged a relationship that only you and I can understand. That is what prepares you for The Kingdom.
Remember that movie about a couple of stranded strangers, a man and a woman who found a relationship going through the hardships of having only one another for survival. Everything they experienced,…..only the two of them could know or understand.
That is like what I want for us. I want us to go through every experience together and create a relationship that only the two of us could ever understand. You are precious to Me.
This is what makes you ready for the kingdom. Yes, put on the armor. Yes, go into battle. Yes, finish the race. But most importantly, allow me to walk right along side you as you do it all. Make yourself ready for The Kingdom. Walk with Me.
