One of Papa's friends has some vintage tractors. Papa went with him to South Texas, and they each drove one of the tractors in a parade. Meme sent this pic, and I just couldn't resist putting it on the blog.
OU vs. TCU
Granny and Bop came to visit for the OU vs. TCU game. We had lots of fun!
Micah endured the stadium noise for the first time. I thought it was a good week to try it, with Deborah there to help, and all. Micah did great! He never jumped or got upset. He made it through most of the first half.
Laura, Branson, and Laura's sister Tiffany also came to the game. Tiffany is a big Sooners fan, and it was her birthday present from Laura to come to an OU game and get the grand tour of the facilities from one of the coaches. :) ha! It is true that she cried when she first saw the stadium... a crimson fan, indeed!
Doesn't Branson look cute in his little jersey?
Here are some of the coaches' kids playing football with Branson....
For those of you who know how Branson is the most active kid I have ever seen in my whole life, you will understand why getting a haircut is such an anxious event for his momma! Laura asked if I trusted anyone to cut his hair. Tammy is the best! She had just the right flavor of dum dum to do the trick and keep him still just long enough...
Soccer star Laura and the rest of the crew got to enjoy one of Makenna's soccer games (and team pictures) on Saturday morning.
Bop's favorite moment of the soccer game....Makenna saw me snapping pictures, stopped playing, and posed for the pic. :) That's my girl! :)
