For those of you who do not know who "Nelson" is....well, he is Mark's blankie....given to Mark and named by Makenna. Nelson is much like Makenna's blankie, "Nellie." Makenna is looking forward to enjoying Texas (oh, yeah...if you don't know, we moved back to the Lone Star State) and enjoying much more time snuggling with Nellie, Nelson, and most importantly, Daddy. I am pretty sure that Micah is excited about the new arrangement as well! :)
Here are a few pics of our last days of fun in Norman.....
I love the spit on his chin... a perfect picture of a moment in time.
Each of Makenna's little friends had her over one more time to play. She has such a great group of friends in Norman; as do I. We will miss them dearly!

For those of you with the misguided assumption that our blood will instantly change back from Crimson to burnt mud....don't get your hopes up. We are Sooners, although not born and bread, happily grafted into the crazy family that it is. Boomer Sooner! My favorite Makenna quote lately was on the drive to move back to Texas when Makenna had seen just one too many "horns" stickers on the backs of vehicles. She said, "Momma....why do so many people have horns -not-upside-down- on their cars here? It is disrespectful to the Sooners." What a difference a year makes!
