You could just hear Bob Barker making the announcement as the third door came open, "A new car!" Makennna got a Purple and Pink Jeep Powerwheel for her birthday, complete with working FM Radio and Barbie CD player. What is this world coming to?..... hours and hours of fun for my sweet little girl! With the Jeep and the Baby Pony (the one single thing she asked for), she got off to a great birthday start!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
3rd Birthday Party
Couldn't she be Alice in the Rabbit's cottage?
My Mom was such a huge help in creating Wonderland. In fact, the idea for the theme was all hers. She made the "Go Fish" game and the Bean Bag Toss. She even made the invitations. I'm so thankful she helped me with everything. I couldn't have pulled it off without her.
Of course, we had to have the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Our young guests dined on Tea Sandwiches, Jello Jigglers, and Fruit Kabobs. That is, of course, until it was time for the cake.
We "Painted the Roses Red."
Megan was a huge help with the party. She drew the Cheshire Cat by hand that we used for the "Pin the Grin on the Cheshire Cat" game. There is no way we could have had the party without sweet Megan. She came the night before, worked late into the night, and got up early to get things just perfect for Makenna's special day.

The three year olds felt that the blindfold was unnecessary. They liked just trying to match up the grins.
Makenna's one request was to play "Ring Around the Rosie." They all loved this game, especially the falling down part!

Makenna's favorite thing in the whole world is to have her family around her. We are so thankful that everyone got to come and enjoy Makenna's special day.
Everyone pitched in to help with the clean-up. It was a terrific party. We all had so much fun, especially the Birthday Girl!

After the party, Makenna got to have the bunny all to herself (at least for one evening!).

Later that afternoon, we went out to celebrate Meme's birthday. Makenna wasn't the only birthday girl.
Laura was so awesome! She came the day before the party and helped me prepare the food that could be prepared ahead. I don't know how many little fruit kabobs she made! I couldn't have done it all without her.

Makenna moved to her new Sunday School Class on Sunday, the Candyland Room. She was Pumped! In this picture, she is showing off her new jewelry that David and Blair gave her. What a princess!
