Makenna and I watched one practice during 2-a-days week, and we had so much fun. Makenna brought her Ponies, and we played and played. You can see from the pictures that Makenna would get closer and closer to the field and Daddy. Then, she would turn and pout when he wouldn't acknowledge her...... Pitiful!
Mark got to be SUPER DAD and take Makenna to Jade's birthday party on Saturday while I worked at Market. It was a swim party. Here is a pic of Makenna and the birthday girl.
The next day we had a party for the Coaches' families hosted by the Booster Club. It was so much fun! The food was great, and the kids got to swim and play together.
During the week Makenna and I joined Tara and Olivia at the Nana Puddin' show. It is so cool to see your kid have that much fun at church! After the show, they let down hundreds of balloons from the ceiling and let the kids knock them around. Makenna was mesmerized by all of the balloons! Later in the week Dad and Aunt Sharon came to see us for a few hours. Makenna wanted to sit by Aunt Sharon at dinner.
On Saturday Mac scrimmaged Mansfield. We played super great in the scrimmage. We scored three times. They scored zero. Mark's DB's had five interceptions. Everyone is getting excited about the season.
On Sunday Mark, Makenna, Ryan, Laura, Branson, Taylor, and I met Mom in Waco to celebrate her birthday. We had lots of fun. Makenna was SO pumped to see everyone!
