Neeny and Poppa got Makenna tickets to the Circus for her birthday last year. When I heard that the circus would be in Oklahoma City, I rounded up a few friends to go this year. Mark had OU Football camp, and Jake's dad, a builder, was volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, so the moms decided to take the kids. Makenna was so excited to go to the circus with Jake and Elaina. The moms had a great time together, too!
Makenna had some pocket money left from the rodeo, so she brought it to the circus. The only things she wanted, in the midst of all sorts of souvenirs and light-up whirly twirlies and candies and everything, was some cotton candy and a coloring book. She bought the coloring book herself and was so proud of it. This girl has come to love coloring just about better than anything else. She likes to color outside with Titus.
