Father's Day is today. Makenna was so excited for Daddy to open his cards and presents this morning before church. Makenna loves her Daddy!
Makenna wanted a special picture of her boo-boo so that everyone would know what a brave face she was putting on for Daddy and his pictures with her for Father's Day. Mark wanted soup and salad from Olive Garden for lunch. Makenna was running to the car and fell on the sidewalk. Luckily she had on pants or she would have had a pretty bad boo-boo on her knee. Instead she has a purple bruise on her knee and a hurt elbow like Neeny. We went straight to Wal-Mart and let her pick out some Barbie band-aids. All is better with a Barbie band-aid!
I took this close up picture of her when she was creating her Father's Day cards. She is quite the serious little artist and requests that her hair be put up a certain way, all pinned up, "like a momma pony tail."
