Gibbs-Copeland Family Lake Trip

The Gibbs-Copeland Crew met up at Lake Brownwood. Everyone had lots of fun with lots of playing on the lake, playing pool, and playing board games into the wee hours of the morning. Makenna and Branson had a great time playing with each other. Both of them LOVED riding in the boat.

Someone had to keep a hand on these two at all times. They wanted to be front and center on the boat. They wanted Bop to drive fast. Branson would cry if anyone tried to put him anywhere but at the front of the boat. He also got fussy and grumpy when I came along for a ride at dusk, and Bop wouldn't go fast. Makenna said that the boat had to be slow to keep baby Micah safe. I don't think that Branson understood that significance.

Everyone gathered on Saturday night to celebrate Makenna's 4th Birthday. Megan was so sweet and brought decorations and everything. It really made it special.

Meme and Papa joined the festivities on Saturday. Makenna got to have Papa's Bar-B-Que for her birthday dinner! Yea!
