Makenna woke up this morning saying, "Happy Ballet Day! Happy Ballet Day!" She wanted to wear her pretty pink leotard and skirt that Nenna got her for her birthday. She was such a cutie. I love seeing my little girl so thrilled!
Elaina is in Makenna's ballet class. Abby, Makenna's best friend from Mother's Day Out, and for whom she has cried about missing since starting her new school, is also in the class. We have a playdate for next week with Abby and her mommy.

Then, there was soccer.....
The first soccer practice was last night. Here is the girl right before practice with her new friend Luke.
Ok, here is my sassy girl, playing at the idea of playing soccer. Kris told Jake that he couldn't wear his sunglasses, and she thought it was pretty funny that I let Makenna wear hers. Makenna didn't want the sun in her eyes.
Chapman's Daddy has his hands on his knees. He is the coach of the team. He has SO much patience! The practices are in Chapman's side yard. Behind those bushes is Coach V's house.
Makenna can kick the ball pretty hard!

Do you see what is going on here? All the kids are running for that ball. My friend Kris grabbed my camera up quick and took this shot. Makenna had just put her sunglasses on top of her head and stopped. She was finished running for the day.

For some unknown reason, Micah does not appreciate Makenna and me showering in the morning. He gets irritated if we take too long. He got pretty worked up today by the time we got out of the shower, and Makenna bent down and started singing the Baby on the Bus verse to the "Wheels on the Bus" song. I just had to get this on video. It cracked me up!
